Psychosocial Recovery Coach

Our psychosocial recovery coaches are here to support you to take more control of your life to better manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living.

Our recovery coaches support you to recognise, reflect and take responsibility of your own recovery.

They will work collaboratively with you, your family, carers and other service providers to design and implement a recovery plan and help with the coordination of other services and NDIS supports.

Our coaches offer a hands on approach, utilising their specific knowledge of mental health services working with you to:

  • Develop a recovery-enabling relationship
  • Increase awareness of choice and control
  • Identify individual goals and develop strategies to achieve them
  • Provide ongoing support and engagement (even in times of increased needs due to variation in individual mental illness)
  • Build individual capacity, increase recovery skills, resilience and decision making

Our staff are passionate about delivering a holistic service that promotes independence and quality of life. Improve your well-being with one of our therapists. We offer our services in your home or at our office. 

We offer a diverse range of high quality therapy and support services to individuals.  

Our therapy services include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy 
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Somatic Therapy


Our therapy services may support individuals with a disability:

  • To build skills and capacity
  • To manage the impact of their disability
  • To build resilience and independence
  • To manage their emotions and behaviour
  • To understand the impact of grief and loss
  • To develop self-care strategies and manage anxiety

With our flexible learning approach you can develop new skills and increase your ability to live as autonomously as possible. Our staff will work with you to create a personal learning plan that reflects your interests, builds on your existing skills and helps you achieve your goals. Our support can include activities such as:

  • Improve your communication and social skills
  • Manage your finances including budgeting, paying bills and creating saving plans 
  • Transport and travel: such as planning your journey, accessing public transport and trouble‐shooting issues.
  • Improve your reading and writing
  • Use computers, tablets and phones

Short Term Accommodation and Assistance

Education, Learning and Skill Development

Under the NDIS, Short Term Accommodation and Assistance (STAA) replaces what used to be called respite for people with a disability. Short Term Accommodation and Assistance can be both:

  • A short stay in a property 
  • Additional support in your own home

Our Short Term Accommodation services can give you the chance to meet new people and try new activities. Our staff will ensure that you have a fun and positive experience

Social and Community Participation

Daily Living Skills are the skills we use in everyday life. Skills like cooking, cleaning, using money, catching public transport, attending appointments the list goes on! Our staff can support you with these Daily Living Skills to help you to learn to do these tasks on your own, as well as lend a hand when it might be needed. We can support you with lots of different tasks, such as:

  • Daily routines
  • Cooking and cleaning
  • Personal care
  • Shopping
  • Money and budgeting
  • Taking medication
  • Volunteering and working
  • Joining a group or club
  • Tips to make friends
  • Catching public transport
  • Working with Government services

Social and Community Participation

Social and Community Participation

Our staff can support you to take part in your community. They will assist you in getting out and about, meeting people, and trying new things! This might include:

  • Signing up for an art class
  • Go on a holiday
  • Learning to play a musical instrument
  • Attend a movie
  • Play a sport
  • Join a group
  • or many other activities.

Our staff can even help you if you want to get away for a few days and explore, we can help you plan a holiday!
