Personal information is collected directly from our clients or by third party representatives completing a new client referral form. Our privacy policy is available upon request and will be provided to all new clients.
CONSENT
Support Connect Thrive uses consent as our foundation for collection, sharing, and use of information. Consent regarding agreement to our Privacy Policy is gained at the time of first consultation.
Where a client decides not to provide requested information, we will inform the client of what effects this non-disclosure may have. For example, withholding certain information may limit our ability to provide a quality service.
Clients can withdraw their consent at any time via a written request to Support Connect Thrive. If a client withdraws their consent to support, then we will discontinue all services immediately and to the best of our abilities support the client to seek alternative supports if requested or necessary.

RIGHTS OF ACCESS
Any client receiving or having received support services, from Support Connect Thrive has the right, under the Privacy Act, to request access to their personal information. If a client requires access to a copy of this information, they must request this via email to: info@supportconnectthrive.com.au or by phoning directly on 0401 356 878.
RECORD KEEPING
Support Connect Thrive records and stores all personal information securely. We regularly review and, where necessary, update our privacy information.
RIGHTS TO RECTIFICATION
Support Connect Thrive makes every effort to ensure that all clients’ personal information is accurate, up to date and correct. Our clients have the right and an obligation to request and keep us informed of any rectification of inaccurate personal information. This can be done by contacting Support Connect Thrive directly using the contact details provided.
UNAUTHORISED ACCESS
As Support Connect Thrive is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, we will view unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, personal information by our employees or contractors, as a serious breach of this policy.
